February 2 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
The Peoria Chamber of Commerce is launching a new AI, Technology & Cybersecurity Committee to help local business leaders better understand how emerging technology, security, and legacy systems are impacting operations, risk, and growth.
We’re pleased to have Eric Noble, owner of Business IT Solutions Professionals, LLC (BITS), serve as Chairman of this new committee.
The committee’s purpose is practical and business-focused:
- Share real-world perspectives on AI adoption (what’s working, what isn’t)
- Discuss cybersecurity and data protection without vendor hype or fear tactics
- Help organizations think through legacy technology, risk, and modernization
- Create a forum for peer discussion and learning
We recognize how busy our members are, so the committee will operate with flexibility:
- Virtual meetings will be the primary format to make participation easy
- Occasional in-person sessions, including a kickoff breakfast planned for early March 2026, for those who prefer face-to-face engagement
Participation does not require technical expertise — just interest in the business impact of technology and security.
If you would be interested in participating or learning more, please reply to this email and we’ll share additional details.
We hope you’ll consider being part of this new initiative.
