Peoria is experiencing rapid economic expansion with major projects reshaping the city’s business landscape. Notably, Amkor Technology is establishing the most advanced semiconductor packaging plant in the U.S., anchoring a growing tech cluster. The Empire Business Park is thriving with new industrial leasing activity, while Peoria Place and Peoria Logistics Park are attracting high-tech and logistics companies, including Trader Joe’s and Frito-Lay. The Trailhead development, open in 2024, will blend retail, restaurants, housing, and community amenities.
Meanwhile, the P83 Entertainment District and Park West Mall are welcoming highly anticipated restaurants and healthcare services, enhancing the city’s appeal for residents and visitors alike. Peoria’s continued investment in infrastructure and business support, including its Business Concierge Service, positions the city as a prime location for both large and small enterprises.
