Celebrating National Small Business Week May 3-9 in the West Valley

National Small Business Week is a nationwide celebration recognizing the vital contributions of small businesses and entrepreneurs. These businesses are the backbone of the American economy—more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and small businesses generate approximately two out of every three new jobs in the United States each year.
Here in the West Valley, that impact is both visible and deeply valued.
A Regional Commitment to Small Business Success
To honor and support our business community, the cities of Avondale, Buckeye, El Mirage, Glendale, Goodyear, Peoria, Surprise, and Tolleson are joining forces with WESTMARC to amplify regional efforts during National Small Business Week. This collaborative initiative reflects a shared commitment to fostering economic vitality and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs at every stage.
Throughout the week, businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs can participate in a variety of events held throughout these participating cities, including:
  • Roundtable discussions with industry leaders
  • Interactive workshops designed to drive growth
  • Panel discussions featuring local experts
  • Networking mixers to build meaningful connections
  • Events dedicated to youth entrepreneurs
