The Peoria Chamber of Commerce is hosting a nine-day visit, to Cuba. "Discover Cuba" will travel to island destinations including Havana, Cienfuegos (Pearl of the South), Trinidad, Playa Giron and the Hemingway Farm, among many other excursions.

This all-inclusive program will run July 17-25. Cost is $3,799 (Peoria Chamber Members have a $100 discount) and includes features roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles International Airport, eight nights in first class hotels, most meals, baggage handling services, airport transfers, professional drivers and guides, deluxe motor coaches, a required entry VISA, and Cuban medical insurance.

Although the trip is being organized by the Peoria Chamber of Commerce, this is purely meant to be a cultural experience, without any business or commercial purpose. According to Monique Cleary, the Chamber’s Member Services Manager, "It's a travel opportunity to see a place where few have been allowed to visit”.
