Independent Living

Independent living features a choice of spacious one and two bedroom apartments with a variety of floor plans ranging from 635 sq. feet to 1377 sq. feet. Our apartments are equipped with full kitchens, ample closet space, storage, and much more. Our community is ideal for active seniors who wan to enjoy a life free from the demands of maintaining a home. Amenitities include a pontoon boat, putting green, media center, theater, recreation room, elegant living room, library, heated pool and jacuzzi, and a private dining room. Included services are weekly housekeeping, transportation, breakfast and your choice of lunch or dinner per day, emergency lifeline system, cable tv, utilities, as well as an extensive activity calendar.

Assisted Living

Our assisted living is designed for seniors who want a residential setting but require some help with tasks of daily living such as bathing, dressing and dining. We offer a wealth of assisted living services to cater to the unique needs of every individual. We are licensed at personal level. Service included are transportation within a 10 mile radius at no additional cost, weekly housekeeping and laundry, 3 meals a day, and a personalized wellness program.  We offer a variety of social, educational and spiritual programs.  We offer respite care for those who want to have someone close without giving up their independence.  This is perfect for families who need temporary placement for their loved one.

Nursing and Rehabilitiation

Desert Harbor's Skilled Nursing Facility provides a professional approach with clinical excellence and skilled rehabilitation needs.  Our 24 hr RN coverage and highly trained nursing staff enable us to care for the most complex cases. We have a full-time dietitian available to ensure patients are following an appropriate diet, tailoring it to their health, therapy program, and nursing needs.  Our Medical Director, a pulmonologist, is readily available for patient care.  Fully certified by Medicare we also work with numerous insurances, making life easier for your loved one. 

Our therapy team consists of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. In conjunction with the therapists we have a Physiatrist who oversees the progress of our residents. Specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehab, our Physiatrist and therapists are able to customize a specific rehab program for your individual needs. We encourage family participation in all aspects of your loved ones recovery. We offer both Inpatient and Outpatient rehabilitation.
