Tribal One Inc was founded by Terry Morrow Collier and her father, Jim Morrow. Both Terry and Jim are lifetime members of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of the Chippewa Indians in Michigan. Jim is Tribal One Inc's President and CEO. Jim served in the U.S. Navy. He had Terry convinced as a child that all he ever ate on the ship was Navy beans. After military service, Jim attended trade school and retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 110 in Norfolk, Virginia after 40 years of service. He received instructor certification from Purdue University and taught trade school in the industry. Since retirement, Jim has owned and operated numerous businesses over the years. Terry is Tribal One Inc's Director of Administrative Operations. Terry attended Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach and Chowan University in North Carolina. She has a degree in Office Systems Technology. Terry retired from the Virginia Beach (Virginia) Police Department after 30 years of civilian service. Post-retirement, Terry moved to Peoria, Arizona to join her life partner, Tim. She was instrumental in coaxing her father, Jim, and stepmother, Mary Ann, into moving to Arizona.
Jim & Terry were thrilled to ask two others to partner with them in this endeavor, Les Beaman and Steve Maize. Les is Tribal One Inc's Director of Field Operations. Les and his life partner, Mary, live in Glendale. He brings 30 years of plumbing and business management experience to Tribal One Inc. He attended Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, Massachusetts. He has been owner and operator of L.L. Beaman Services LLC since 2004. Prior to L.L. Beaman Services, Les owned and operated two solar thermal, plumbing, soft water, and water purification businesses. He is the founding member of the Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association (AriSEIA). Les also carries several certifications relating to solar products, plumbing systems, and plumbing technology. His most recent certification was in 2011 from Villanova University in the essentials of project management. Steve Maize is Tribal One Inc's Director of Business Development. He is a member of the Chinook Indian Nation in Washington State and a direct descendant of Chief Comcomly, a prestigious figure who received a medal from Lewis and Clark for overseeing their safety. Steve secured a degree in Business Management before becoming a golf professional. He has played in hundreds of golf events and taught over 50,000 golf lessons. He has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for several charitable organizations. Steve and his wife, Connie, reside in Phoenix.
