A Glider Ride at Turf Soaring School is considered the ultimate Arizona adventure. We have been sharing the Joy of Soaring with others since 1967 and we would like to share our love of Soaring with you. We are located at Pleasant Valley Airport just three miles South of beautiful Lake Pleasant.
Pleasant Valley Airport is the last of the grass roots airports. Although Pleasant Valley Airport (P48) is a privately owned public use airport, people can still come out and touch and feel the airplanes or gliders. We encourage the local schools to bring out groups of young people so they can experience aviation up close. The Civil Air Patrol trains young cadets here. We have open tie downs and space to build hangars. Occasionally we have hangars available to rent.
Pleasant Valley Airport also has an RV Park for those who want to live near aviation or for those who just want to live out of the hustle of the city.
