The Luke Air Force Base Picnic held on November 12 was another outstanding picnic. Over twenty businesses participated and displayed their products and services to over 4,000 military personnel and their families.   The Military Affairs Committee presents the annual event to bring fun, food, helpful information and special funds to Luke.  A check for $7,635 was presented to Colonel Douglas Miller from proceeds collected from participating chamber members.
