Board of Directors
The Peoria Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is comprised of local members of the Peoria business community.
The Board Development Committee is charged with aligning the Board to the Chamber’s strategic objectives and representing the entire business community. This means the Board benefits from small to large business representation.
Serving on the Board is through a selection/election process that includes submitting an application, resume and participating in a panel interview. The Board is always seeking leaders in Peoria and the West Valley to serve. The annual selection/election process occurs in April and May. Charlene Bisson is publisher of Independent Newsmedia’s West Valley division, which prints the Daily News-Sun, Peoria Today, Sun City Independent, Sun City West Independent, Glendale Today and Surprise Today newspapers as well as Sun Life Magazine and YourWestValley.com. Charlene grew up in the West Valley and graduated from Arizona State University
with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Business. She lives in Peoria with her husband
and four children.
Suzanne Webb; Healthcare Executive with 30 years experience focusing on increasing revenues for Physicians, Hospitals, Surgeons and Ambulatory Surgery Centers has created a new business Esurgeries.com to make sure that every patient has a positive surgical experience. Utilizing a bundled pricing model that saves on planned surgical costs, available through self-insured employers.
Kirsten Hall is a non-voting board member, representing the City of Peoria. As Business Development Coordinator in the Economic Development Services Department for the last 3 years, her responsibilities are business expansion, workforce development,
retail infill and redevelopment. She is a 20 year resident of
Peoria, Arizona and has lived most of her life in the west valley, raising he two children here.
With 16 years of experience and extensive knowledge in the real estate, mortgage, and finance industries, Ashla Kinnaman moved to Arizona from the Bay Area, CA and has been a resident of the West Valley for almost 12 years. She is passionate about business expansion, economic development and humanitarian causes. She serves on the Peoria Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is also Vice President on the Board of a non-profit, Glendale Flash which is a youth running club. She helps with funds raising and club direction. Ashla holds an active Arizona Department of Real Estate license. She also holds a Bachelors Degree from San Jose State University in Speech Communications and a Minor in
David Mitchell (“David”) is in active partnership with his brother Dan in Ideal Insurance Agency. The Agency was started from scratch and incorporated in 1983. Today as an independent insurance agency Ideal services over 5600 customers. Since 2002 David has taught in the insurance industry and collegiately as an adjunct professor in the areas of both business and human resources. He has consulted and/or been an expert witness on over 35 Arizona insurance court cases. In addition, David has had the pleasure of serving on several community boards and committees in the west valley. Currently he is pleased to be serving on various committees for organizations, a member of Peoria Chamber of commerce Board of Directors, Co-Chair of the Hometown Christmas Parade, President’s Advisory at Glendale Community College, and a board member of the Arizona Justice Center. Dave is also part of the President’s Advisory at Glendale Community College.
Ken Parsons, along with his wife Fran, has owned and operated Westside Signarama since 2003. Prior to that, Ken worked in Information Technology for more than 20 years, ending as a Senior Consultant with IBM. In addition to his role on the Board of the Peoria Chamber of Commerce, Ken is a member of the Rotary Club of Peoria North, an Assistant Governor with Rotary District 5495, and is a member of the Peoria Diamond Club.
Bobbi Magdaleno is the executive director of government and community engagement at Arizona State University. Based at ASU’s West campus, she is responsible for initiatives and activities that
create and strengthen relationships connecting the west valley to
the university. Programs and partnerships are focused on
advancing ASU, positively impacting communities and creating
opportunities for learning.
Dave Evans is the Special Projects Coordinator of It’s All In The Game, representing them on the Board of the Peoria Chamber Of Commerce. Dave is a retired teacher, the author of A Message For Baseball and a native of the Valley of the Sun. His wife is former Peoria City Council Member,
Tom Loegering, Board member on three nonprofits, Founder and Chairman of GPS, Golf Program in Schools. CEO of the Sun City Country Club, Certified Score Mentor, Certified Property Manager. B1 General Contractor, Notary, Member of Leadership West class 20 and author of Success or Failure, the Choice is Yours.

Jason currently works for Cox Communications as the Director of Channels Sales for Arizona and Southern Nevada. His teams are out in the community offering residential products such as Homelife, Internet, Contour TV and Phone. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids when he isn’t at work or volunteering with his church and the community. Jason also serves on the Southern Arizona Market Leadership Council and Nevada Executive Senior Team for Cox Communications. Jason Graduated from Grand Canyon University with a BS in Applied Management.
